A mountain keeps an echo deep inside

Rumi

He yelled “It is what it is” and the mountain called back whisper ing “It is what it is”.

the mountain kept part of his voice and reflected the rest of it, the echo was slipper y, light

and vanished in the silence of the valley.

That silence was a void, one of those empty spaces of memory...
